Nicholas Ryan Vaughn, of Sevier County, was born on October 12, 1984, and passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. He was taken from us far too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Nick had a true passion for fixing things—whether it was cars, construction projects, or anything that needed repair, he could always figure it out. He was the kind of person who would help anyone and everyone without hesitation, always offering a smile and a good laugh along the way. Most of all, Nick loved his family. His greatest pride and joy were his two children: Alec Ryan Vaughn, age 18, and Aspen Anna’leigh Phillips, age 3. They were his whole world.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Allen Vaughn; his grandparents, Kenneth and Shirley Vaughn; and his grandparents, Robert and Mary Elizabeth Rich.
He is survived by his children, Alec Vaughn and Aspen Phillips; his mother, Patricia Rich Coulter; his siblings, Jeff Rich, Bobby Allen Vaughn, Matthew Vaughn, and Sabrina Vaughn; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Nick will forever be in our hearts and always remembered for his kind spirit, helping hands, and the love he shared so freely. A Celebration of Life will be held soon for friends and family to gather and honor his memory.
A private graveside service will take place for immediate family.
