Marvin Henry Crawford, age 87 of the Solway community, went peacefully to his heavenly home August 25. 2025.
Preceded in death by father and mother, Henry and Rose Crawford; former wife of 60 yrs Betty Jean Joiner Crawford; brother Donald Crawford and sister Linda Dew; grandson James Baldwin II.
Survived by wife, Carol Yvonne Baker Crawford, sister Kathy Hicks, sons and daughter-in-laws Rocky and Lori Crawford, Robert and Michelle Crawford; Daughter, Marvina Baldwin; stepson Jack and Lisa Baker; six grandchildren (Rocky) Michael Crawford, Joshua Crawford, and Roxan Crawford; (Robby) Robert Crawford and Ryan Crawford; (Marvina) Jessica Baldwin; Eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Marvin Loved his John Deere Tractors. One look at the yard, or in the treasure cabinet, will tell you, his life. Family Tractors, and dogs, were his treasures in life. Marvin worked at Y12 for many years and many will miss this wonderful man.
A Celebration of Marvin’s life will be at 3pm Saturday September 6, 2025, at the Solway Church of God Family Life Center 3317 Solway Rd, Knoxville, TN 37931. Burial in the church cemetery following the service. Pastor Jeremy Daniels officiating.
