With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Lucy Kline, who passed away on September 7th in Sevierville, Tennessee. At 69 years of age.
Lucy lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love. She was the devoted wife of Don W. Kline, sharing 43 beautiful years together. Their marriage was a true example of partnership, commitment, and laughter through every season of life.
She was the proud mother of four children, Sarah Evans (Jason Keith), Joshua (Debra)Kline, Jacob (Lori Black) Kline, and Rachel (Junior)Gomez, who were blessed to call her mom. To her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, she was more than just a grandmother, she was a best friend, a guiding light, and the one whose hugs could fix anything. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment she spent with them.
Her love for the Lord Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. She walked with faith every single day, sharing it not only in words but in the way she lived—with kindness, generosity, and a heart that welcomed everyone. She never met a stranger, and those who crossed her path left feeling seen, valued, and loved.
She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners, gardening, singing hymns, and crafting. These simple joys reflected the way she lived her life: fully, gratefully, and always with love at the center.
She leaves behind her husband, Don Kline; her four children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and countless friends and loved ones who will cherish her memory forever.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday September 20th at 5:15 pm at Abundant Life Worship Center, in Sevierville Tennessee, where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy of love, faith, and family.
