Minnie “Lois”Burnette, age 78 of Sweetwater passed away peacefully at home Monday, August 5,2024. Lois was raised in Sneedville Tennessee and completed high school at Morristown East. She moved to Sevier County in 1983 and
eventually became the owner of B&L Jewelers in Sevierville for over 20 years. She worked in the jewelry business most of her life and loved her customers. Lois attended Gum Stand Baptist Church and loved all of her friends and family there. She was known for her loving personality and her love of serving the Lord. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Edith Seal, her brothers, Darrel, Clifford, and Lee Seal, her son Billy Everhart, and daughter Beth Everhart.
She is survived by: her husband Lonny Burnette, daughter Rebecca Harvey and husband Jason Harvey, sister in-law Billy Seal, Sister in Christ Patty Davis, grandchildren; Caleb Everhart, Morgan, Anna , and Cade Harvey , Jefferey and Chase Shivel.
Celebration of Life will be 7 p.m. Thursday, August 8 at Gum Stand Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Reagan officiating.
