James (Jimmy) W. Spence, age 82, of Sevierville passed away on February 26, 2026 after a brief illness at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mynatt and Nelle Spence, brothers Harold Gene & Max Spence and sister Susan Spence, his daughter Donna Vennable, Sister-in-law Margaret Spence, grandparents Arlis and Ethel Maples and Andy and Jane Spence.
Jimmy is survived by his partner, Theresa Siewert, daughter Leslie Smith (Dean), grandson Spencer Nagel, granddaughter Brittany Gower and great grandson Brayden Hurst, brother Wayne Spence, sister Wanda Wilson (Gary) plus several nieces and nephews. Also his friends from his days working with Rentenbach Engineering and all of his family and special friends.
No funeral or graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
