Herb Kraehmer, 76, of Sevierville, Tennessee, passed away on March 25, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Herb, a Navy veteran with 25 years of service, was a dedicated and respected member of the military community.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Wilson, his sons Curtis and Carey Kraehmer, daughter-in-law Kelli Kraehmer, stepsons Brandon Harmon (Elsie) and Andrew Wilson, grandchildren Airica, Christian, Isabella, Haylee, Abigail, Arya and great-grandson Camden. He is also survived by his sister Karen Meyer and brother Carl G. Kraehmer. Herb leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Herb was preceded in death by his father Wilbert Kraehmer, Mother Aileen Uetz, grandparents George Uetz, Marion Towne, Carl F. Kraehmer, and Elizabeth Pranke.
He was an active member of 3 honor guards and found great joy in this service. Herb’s commitment to his community extended to his worship at First Baptist Church Sevierville.
A visitation for Herb will be held on April 9, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Sevierville. Graveside military honors will be conducted on April 10 at 10:00 AM. If you would like to be part of the procession please meet at First Baptist Church in Sevierville between 8:15 AM and 9:00 AM. The procession will pull out at 9:15 AM to head to the cemetery.
Herb Kraehmer will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
